If you have girls that love things in their hair, then this post is for you. Today it's all about
Hair Accessories and your going to heart it.
My girls love wearing flowers, headbands, clips, ribbons, and just about anything sparkly in their hair. We have done our fair share of shop browsing to find just the right headband at just the right price and then come to find out that I could have made it myself. I have to say we do love
Forever 21, they have great hair accessories and they are reasonable too. But within the blog world I have found some creative ladies that can help you spice up your hair bins real fast. Just have a look see.
- Blue Cricket Design - she shares a post about Heather Bailey's Fabric flowers, and started making her own right away. She also has a great tutorial on a ruffle headband, way cute check it out!
- Skip to My Lou - love this site and especially this felt flower. During December I was looking for something I could add to the girls Christmas outfits and stumbled across this tutorial. So easy to do and you can even put your own spin on it too. I made my flowers so they could slide onto a headband and used large shinny studs instead of a button. Be creative spice it up just the way you like it.
- Ruby's Clips - Now this is a shop but don't let it scare ya. She has some amazing ideas, if you love them buy them but if you think you can create one then give it a try. All you need to do is create a template, buy some felt and get those creative juices flow-in.
- Somewhat Simple - she has a great tutorial for a fabric flower headband. This is just the project for you.
- Homespun Light - her version of a fabric flower clip is worth checking out. I like the cleanness of this style, could be worn fancy or everyday.
- Patino Style - this is for all those that don't think they can do any of these projects. Easy to follow along tutorial for fabric flower clips. Just gather up your scrap material and have at it.
- Little Birdie Secrets - wonderful tutorial for organza flower clips plus a whole lot more.
- Yoonie-at-home - I think this is my favorite felt flower tutorial so far. She has a great template to print off and a great idea to use it as a clip or put it on a headband. Definitely a keeper!
- Creative Crate - fabric flower clips with a touch of flair. For sure on my to do list!
- Apostrophy Designs - she makes these awesome zipper flower clips and much much more. Check her site out, worth seeing.
I hope you were able to get a few good ideas from this post. I know my girls are begging for some new hair accessories so I better get started soon. Have fun creative something awesome!
